As part of our business development, Smart Seismic Solutions is seeking a versatile deckhand or mechanic (m/f) with experience in maritime work to participate in geophysical surveys at sea and/or inland waters. Occasional assignments are available in Europe and internationally.

Main responsibilities:
Participate in the mobilization and demobilization of onboard equipment.
Ensure the deployment, recovery, and handling of geophysical measurement equipment.
Participate in deck operations, lifting, mooring, and handling.
Assist technical teams during data acquisition operations.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and HSE guidelines.

Desired profile:
Professional experience in the maritime sector: offshore work, port operations, workboats, and/or fishing vessels.
Good practical skills in deck work.
Ability to work as part of a team in a demanding maritime environment.
Autonomy, versatility, rigor, and a strong sense of responsibility.
